Designed to keep a large hunting handgun both comfortable and accessible, Galco’s Kodiak™ Chest Holster positions a magnum revolver diagonally across the torso. Using principles similar to modern backpacks, it features a padded shoulder strap paired with a torso strap for quick adjustments throughout a day in the field. Tightening the torso strap shifts the weight off the shoulder, allowing for comfortable, all-day carry.
The placement and angle of the Kodiak holster on the torso can be easily adjusted to accommodate various activities, including driving ATVs and trucks, without restricting natural movement. No screws or tools are required for adjustments, whether wearing heavy winter clothing, under a coat, or over a shirt in warmer weather.
The Kodiak comes fully assembled, complete with a holster, shoulder strap, and torso strap. The optional Kodiak Holster Bandolier is available for separate purchase.
Whether used as the primary holster for a hunting revolver, as a backup for rifle or archery hunters, or for peace of mind in bear country, the Kodiak keeps a heavy revolver secure, accessible, and comfortable. Available in Havana Brown.
