Returns, complaints and exchanges
Please note that deliveries of goods that are made to customer specifications or clearly tailored to personal requirements (e.g. holster production for modified weapons) are excluded from the right of return (see revocation). The same applies to goods which, due to their nature, are not suitable for return or can spoil quickly or whose expiry date has passed. If you have any complaints or objections, please contact us before returning the goods.
All other items can be returned to us without giving reasons within a period of 14 days.
For customers from Germany:
We bear the direct costs of returning the goods if you have a customer account with us and if the return takes place within Germany. For international returns, the buyer bears the direct costs of the return shipment, unless the buyer has participated in the PayPal programme for free returns. In this case, PayPal will bear the costs of the return shipment.
Return procedure:
With us, you have the option of a free return if you have created a customer account with us or have participated in the free PayPal returns programme.
To ensure that your return arrives undamaged, we would like to ask you to send the goods back to us in the original box and packaging, if possible. Proceed as follows for a return:
Processing for customers with a Holsterwelt customer account:
- Please request a DHL parcel stamp for your return at [email protected] . Please include your order number.
- Please fill out the return form (you will find it as an attachment in the shipping confirmation e-mail) and enclose it with the package.
- Print out the DHL parcel label and stick it on the parcel.
- Drop off your package at a DHL station.
Refund:
We will refund the amount of the goods you have returned within a maximum of five working days of receiving your return. You will then receive an e-mail from us with an invoice correction. Your credit will be refunded to the account from which you paid for your order, e.g.:
- In the case of a prepayment purchase, you will receive a credit to the bank account from which the transfer was also made.
- If you pay with Paypal, you will receive a credit to your Paypal account.
Depending on the banking institution, the return transfer takes 6-10 days. Please note that experience has shown that crediting credit cards takes several days and can therefore only be visible on the next credit card statement with a delayed debit. The refund will be made in the same currency as the purchase. Any losses due to currency fluctuations will not be refunded.
Refunds for discounts subject to a minimum order value:
We offer discounts or free shipping on purchases above a certain minimum order value. This minimum order value must be reached for the discount to be applied to the order. The same applies to discount codes.
If you place an order and have used discounts, but then return an item from that order and this reduces the total cost of that order, this will result in the conditions for using the discount or free shipping no longer being met. This is because the total value of the order is now less than the minimum order value. This may result in us adjusting the amount refunded to you for the returned item accordingly.
Exchange:
If you wish to exchange the item you purchased for another item, you must please place a new order. Unfortunately, for technical reasons, it is not possible to offset a credit against a new order.
Note belt:
When trying on a belt, please make sure not to tighten the strap too much. This usually causes visible signs of use and makes the returned belt unsaleable for us. The same applies to scratches and bending when used with weapon holsters.
Note leather holsters:
If the weapon sits very tightly in a holster made of genuine leather or the safety tab does not close completely or with difficulty, this is usually normal as the genuine leather contracts due to the production process. If you feel that the holster is considerably too small, please contact us so that we can clarify the cause.
FAULTY ITEM
If an item is delivered faulty or has a defect within the warranty period, please inform us in writing or by telephone of the defect in the item. We will then contact you immediately to discuss further steps.
For consumers from EU and non-EU countries:
You bear the direct costs of returning the goods.
