HIGH READY Chest Holster
Galco’s High Ready™ chest holster system is the latest addition to their expanding line of torso-worn hunting and outdoor holsters.
Ideal for comfortably carrying a large-frame handgun while hunting, fishing, camping, or hiking, the High Ready positions the firearm on the chest, keeping it clear of gear around the waist or back and allowing for rifle carry on either shoulder. It also keeps the handgun dry when crossing water and is perfect for riding on an ATV or horseback.
The High Ready’s comfort comes from three key design features:
First, the innovative backing plate, made with a ballistic nylon front and closed-cell foam core. The part of the plate against the chest is lined with Galco’s Comfort Cloth™, an Adaptive Performance Mesh™ that provides padding and wicks moisture.
Second, the unique harness construction allows the holster to pivot at three attachment points, enhancing mobility and reducing restriction. Three secure metal side-release buckles connect the holster to the harness straps at these pivot points.
Lastly, the 1 1/2” wide tubular webbing harness straps distribute the weight of a heavy handgun for optimal comfort. One strap goes over each shoulder, while another wraps around the torso for balanced weight distribution.
The rigid, open-top Kydex holster pocket fully covers the slide, enables quick drawing and re-holstering, and allows for a full firing grip. Semi-auto versions accommodate most red dot sights.
