Product Description
The DAA IDPA PDR PRO-II combines the current unlined PDR PRO-II Kydex body with a compact Belt-Ride mounting. The result is a close-to-body sporting holster for IDPA, dynamic shooting disciplines and range use. Its RDO-compatible profile, directly accessible draw-resistance adjustment and adjustable belt mounting allow the setup to be matched precisely to the pistol, belt and preferred draw position.
Unlined Kydex body for a consistent draw
DAA intentionally omits the suede lining on this IDPA version. Direct contact with the Kydex avoids added drag and supports a fast, consistent release. Draw resistance can be tuned through one or both externally accessible Phillips-head screws without removing the holster from the belt.
Belt-Ride Ambidextrous Hanger
The belt mounting keeps the holster body close to the wearer and provides a solid yet angle-adjustable connection. It fits belts from 1.5 to 2.0 in (3.81–5.08 cm) wide. Spacers can be placed above the belt, below it or split between both positions, allowing a limited amount of height adjustment. The hanger is ambidextrous; the Kydex shell is supplied for the selected right- or left-handed configuration.
RDO use and selecting the correct variant
The open holster profile is designed for pistols fitted with an RDO. An optic does not make an incorrect holster shell compatible: the firearm model, generation, barrel length, sights and other modifications must match the selected variant. DAA offers separate shells for the firearm families shown in the selection field.
Important notes from the DAA compatibility list
- Some fitting may be required for 1911 Government pistols, depending on manufacturer and version.
- For the H&K VP9, DAA expressly specifies that the Kydex must be reshaped; it is not a no-adjustment fit.
- The S&W M&P 2.0 Competitor is not supported according to DAA.
- CANIK and Grand Power X-Cal are offered as separate variants; check the specific pistol for secure fit before use.
Adjustment and safe use
- Select the firearm model and handedness, then test the fit only with a completely unloaded pistol.
- Tune draw resistance gradually and regularly check the screws and belt mounting for tightness.
- Before sporting use, repeatedly confirm that the pistol is held securely and can be drawn without binding.
- Do not heat or reshape the shell unless DAA expressly specifies this for the exact model.
