Product Description
Configuration: SIG 226/228 (nicht X5, nicht LDC), right hand, black.
The DAA IDPA PDR PRO-II is a close-to-body Kydex holster for dynamic shooting sports and range use. DAA combines its current PDR PRO-II holster body with the compact Belt-Ride Ambidextrous Hanger. The open profile is designed for pistols equipped with an RDO; selecting the correct holster shell for the exact pistol remains essential.
Fast, directly adjustable Kydex body
The holster body is intentionally unlined. DAA omits the suede lining on this version to avoid additional drag and provide a smooth release. Draw resistance can be adjusted through one or both externally accessible Phillips-head screws, even while the holster is already mounted on the belt.
Close-to-body Belt-Ride mounting
The Belt-Ride Hanger keeps the holster close to the body and provides a solid yet angle-adjustable connection. It fits belts from 1.5 to 2.0 in (3.81–5.08 cm) wide. The belt spacers can be positioned above the belt, below it or split between both positions, allowing a limited amount of height adjustment. The hanger itself is ambidextrous; the Kydex holster body must still be selected for right- or left-handed use.
Fit of this variant
DAA lists the P226 Select, P226 Legion Full-Size, Stainless Elite Full Size, Emperor Scorpion, MK25 Full Size, 22 SOA, TACOPS Full Size, Nitron Full Size and P228, among others, for this shell. SIG X5 and LDC versions are not part of this variant.
The model designation does not approve every technically similar pistol. Before ordering, compare the firearm, generation, barrel length and any fitted accessories with the official DAA list. An optic mount, tall sights, safety levers or other modifications must not interfere with secure retention or the draw stroke.
Adjustment and safe use
- Adjust and test the fit only with a completely unloaded pistol.
- Tune draw resistance gradually and regularly check both screws and the belt mounting for tightness.
- Before sporting use, repeatedly confirm that the pistol is held securely and can be drawn without binding.
- Do not heat or reshape the shell unless DAA expressly specifies this for the exact model.
