GALCO Ironhide belt holster
High, close and quick to remove
The Ironhide carries a compatible compact or full-size pistol high and close to the body. GALCO describes it for casual concealment and outdoor use, including under shorter jackets. It is also intended for seated riding in vehicles, including ATVs. Its holster component can be quickly detached from and reattached to the belt slide.
Convertible for right- or left-hand use
To change carry hand, unsnap the holster from the belt slide, move the slide to another position on the belt and reattach the holster. Hand molding and a reversible retention strap secure the pistol. A polymer tab facilitates release with gloves. For compatible 1911-type pistols, the strap accommodates both hammer-down and cocked-and-locked carry.
Steerhide, belt width and optic exclusion
The Ironhide is made from premium steerhide in Tan and fits belts up to 1¾ inches wide. GALCO explicitly excludes compatibility with red-dot optics.
