Product Description
GALCO BIG IRON belt holster
Steerhide with smooth lining
The BIG IRON is designed for carrying a large revolver in the field. It is made from premium steerhide with a smooth leather lining, described by GALCO as gentle on the handgun and enhancing the feel of the draw.
Protective flap and belt attachment
The short snapping flap protects and secures the revolver. A polymer tab assists release with gloves. The supplied polymer belt slot adjusts for belt width and fits belts up to 1¾ inches.
Leg thong and optional belt drop
A leg thong is part of the equipment and is described by GALCO as particularly useful with the optional belt drop. The belt drop is not included. It can provide clearance from rain gear or body armor, position the holster below a backpack waist strap and potentially ease or speed the draw, particularly for short-waisted and/or female shooters.
