Vertical leather shoulder holster

Made of the best vegetable * leather, thermoformed for a better fit of the weapon in the holster. Part of the shoulder strap is equipped with an elastic band made of soft material to increase comfort on the body.
Solid, elastic band provides firm support for the gun and the required speed on the train. In this model, additional safety was deliberately omitted so that the weapon can be accessed as quickly as possible, e.g. can be guaranteed when hunting.

The shoulder leather system contains the holster including a height-adjustable shoulder strap. Thanks to the push buttons on the cross plate, it can be easily removed and replaced with other accessories from VEGA. In this simple, clever way your shoulder holster can be adapted to your needs and becomes an all-rounder!
After you have made the configuration, the appropriate accessories that you can buy will appear under the item description. This accessory has the matching cross plate for exchange.

Tip: Since leather is a natural material, high-quality leather products may require a break, either from the holster or the strap. Please read on our blog how to break in and care for your leather holster so that it fits perfectly.

The selection criterion left refers to left-handed shooters and right to right-handed shooters. For right-handed shooters, the holster is thus mounted on the left side of the body. For left-handed shooters, the holster is worn on the right side of the body, since with shoulder holsters the weapon is always drawn diagonally.

Nice holster
The leather is on the thin side and the holster is very tight fitting. Im certain the holster will loosen up fine and it is well moulded to fit my revolver. It is also very well made. Im quite satisfied and will recommend this holster to anyone who might be interested in getting one.

Memory Lane
This upside down holster is a quality product. I was a Deputy Sheriff long ago and as a detective I carried my snubby S&W Model 19, 357 Combat Magnum, in a Safariland upside down rig. So ... my old 357 was a snug fit (perfect) in this new holster and made me reflect back in time to my former profession. I am very pleased with this purchase to say the least. We have bears where I live in the Blue Ridge Mountains and my 357 Magnum gives me a secure feeling when out and about in the woods. (Ive had bear come up on the back porch looking around). If I could give you ten stars I would without hesitation or reservation.

Excellent holster and the leather smells great
The holster is a tight fit, which is what one wants from an upside down vertical holster. The holster is more comfortable to wear for hours than any other shoulder rig I’ve used (and I’ve used many), even with heavy .357.

I am having a small frustration with getting the straps where they need to be so that the butt of the revolver hangs below the barrel instead of being canted behind it.

If I need holsters, this is my first place to go. Definitely recommend.

Excellent Quality Build - High Quality - Perfect Fit with Colts
This is my favorite snubby holster type. It is very hard to find a good one. My Vega DA1 is the 6-shot version and is a glove fit for my two Colt DS revolvers. The DA1 was definitely molded on a Colt form gun. My Taurus 856 also fits.

Wonderful rig
Because i have some physical problems I had to modify the leather part of the harness, but it was easy to do and took a pair of scissors and fifteen minutes.

After more than fifty-five years and dozens of holsters I now have the perfect rig. I am so impressed I ordered a second one for a friend. It arrived yesterday and hell get it this afternoon.

Very well designed engineered and constructed. Fits my New Colt Cobra (2020) like a tailor made fine leather glove. High quality fasteners and attachment parts. The fit for carry is perfect for me. I have complete freedom of movement, does not slip or slide off my shoulder. I have it adjusted to hang so that the bottom of the handle of my pistol hangs at the top of my belt line and is forgettable, offering no restriction or interference to my arm, and no points of discomfort or hot spots. The pistol is very secure in the holster and easy to draw. I already had a shoulder rig with leather strapping around both shoulders and designed to be fastened to a belt. It has worked well enough but the combination of how its designed to be attached to my belt, and the leather shoulder straps on both shoulders has made it feel heavy and somewhat restrictive. I love this Vega Holster! The price is truly a bargain for this well designed, fine leather holster, made in Italy, even including the relatively high cost of shipping to the U.S.A.,
