Stay cool during challenging security operations with changing temperature conditions with TacFirst® SECURITY H014 CoolDuty quartz gloves.
Thanks to breathable TacFirst® CoolDuty mesh panels of the outer shell, an exchange of air and moisture is supported while providing protection from the elements. Sweating is thus counteracted, especially in warm temperatures. This increases comfort and the possible wearing time indoors and outdoors.
Four chambers above the ankles, filled with quartz sand, are double stitched at critical points and compress under pressure. The advantage of the quartz sand filling is the property of thousands of small grains of sand. These maintain mobility while providing optimal pressure distribution to protect the ankles. Thus, they inhibit the injurious effect of sharp edges and hard objects.
The ultra-light 360° cut-resistant TacFirst® H101 lining is made of 80% HPPE-based high-performance polymers combined with fiberglass core. This proven blend was developed for protective clothing and, in addition to its cut-retardant effect, has considerable tensile and tear strength.
The inside of the index finger and thumb are touchscreen compatible. This means that the TacFirst® H014 access gloves do not have to be taken off to operate touch displays or the smartphone. So you stay as well protected as possible and are always ready for action!
The palm of the TacFirst® quartz sand gloves is rubberized and offers grip strength, even in difficult conditions. The quartz gloves are firmly closed with a durable Velcro quick-release fastener.

Quartz gloves are not considered a weapon under the Weapons Act due to the fact that they are not intended to be used as a cutting and thrusting weapon. Therefore, gloves filled with quartz sand (quartz gloves) can be legally purchased and carried. This was confirmed by the Federal Criminal Police Office in a decision dated 12.07.2006 (AZ KT 21 / SO 11 - 5164.01 - Z-41) based on § 2 V WaffG. Quote:
"The cutting and thrusting weapon property in the sense of No. 1.1 of Annex 1 to §1 paragraph 4 - definitions -, section 1 subsection 2 WaffG is not given.
The prohibition property in the sense of Annex 2 to § 2 paragraph 3 WaffG - Weapons List - Section 1, No. 1.3.1:
"cutting and thrusting weapons which, according to their form, are suitable for pretending to be another object, or which are disguised with objects of everyday use"
is therefore negated. "
However, legal provisions under § 17a of the Assembly Act must be observed. According to this, it is not permitted to carry objects that can be used to defend against enforcement measures by a holder of sovereign powers.
In case of doubt, we recommend that you check the current legal situation before carrying gloves filled with quartz sand.
