Kydex
Kydex material was intended for use in aircraft interiors, but soon found its way into everyday objects. Technically, Kydex is an acrylic polyvinyl chloride composite developed for thermoforming. The unique properties of Kydex are scratch resistance, waterproofness, low friction and dimensional stability (no elongation or shrinkage under normal conditions). Thanks to these properties, Kydex holsters adapt well to the gun without affecting the finish. In short: Kydex holsters are indestructible!
