Goncalo Alves - The Most Popular, Light With Dark Figure.
Also known as Zebrawood or Tigerwood, Hogue’s Goncalo Alves fancy hardwood grips are cut from seasoned heartwood and feature a dramatic, contrasting color scheme in shades of light and dark brown. Among all fancy hardwoods, your Goncalo Alves grip will stand out with a glowing, natural luster and color that naturally deepens with age and exposure.

Fits the following Smith and Wesson N Frame Square Butt Models:
-20, 22, 23, 26, 27, 28, 57, 58, 520(6 shot), 544
-and the following models are either Round and Square Butts: 21, 24, 25, 29, 624, 629, 657
To differentiate between Round and Square Butt, Measure the flat area on the very bottom of your grip. This is the surface that commonly has the serial number located on it. Round butts will measure under 1 ¼” (1,38 cm) and Square butts will be over 1 ¼”.
Square vs Round butt Frames:
This grip is a one-piece Monogrip design. They are ambidexterous allowing both right and left handed use and are fully relieved for speedloaders. Installation is easy requiring the stirrup to be simply snapped over the existing stock pin. The grip then slides up from the butt, with one screw securing the grip through the butt. All necessary hardware is provided.

The unique one-piece design of Monogrip reguires that it be mounted from the bottom of the hand handle. Since the grip will not like conventional two piece designs, please read the mounting instructions included thoroughly.
