The Galco FLETCH HIGH RIDE BELT HOLSTER for Pistols is a proven High Ride* belt holster with thumb break retention strap and two-piece construction that contours to the hip curvature. The FBI Cant* with its characteristic butt-forward angle positions the grip optimally for a natural draw. The two-piece construction follows the body contour, creating an especially flat profile – narrower than traditional pancake holsters.
The Fletch provides an additional retention level through its thumb break strap compared to open-top holsters – ideal for situations requiring maximum security during movement. Fits belts up to 1¾".

Glossary:
- Thumb Break* – A retention strap over the firearm grip that is released with the thumb. Provides additional security against accidental dislodging – especially important during active movement.
- High Ride* – The holster sits high on the belt, hugging the body more closely and making it easier to conceal under clothing.
- FBI Cant* – The grip tilts rearward approximately 15°–20°. This facilitates a natural drawing motion and keeps the barrel tighter against the body. Developed and preferred by the FBI and other federal agencies.
- OWB* – Outside Waistband – the holster mounts on the outside of the belt (as opposed to IWB holsters, which tuck inside the waistband).
- Premium Saddle Leather* – "Number One" grade American steerhide, representing the top 2% of all available hides, selected for firmness, consistency, and fiber structure.
- Vegetable Tanned* – A traditional, eco-friendly tanning method using natural tannins from tree bark (e.g., oak, mimosa). Produces firm, long-lasting leather without chrome salts or chemicals. More skin-friendly, more biodegradable, and develops a beautiful patina over time.
- IDPA* – International Defensive Pistol Association: An international sport shooting organization focused on realistic self-defense scenarios.
- USPSA* – United States Practical Shooting Association: The U.S. governing body for practical shooting competition.
