The Galco AVENGER BELT HOLSTER for Pistols is a versatile Open Top* belt holster with vertical carry angle (Neutral Cant*). The vertical position allows both Strongside* and Crossdraw* carry with the same holster. Molded sight rails protect the firearm's sights, while the Reinforced Opening* enables safe, one-handed reholstering. The Adjustable Retention* tension unit provides individually adjustable holding force.
The neutral carry angle makes the Avenger particularly suitable for shooters who want to switch flexibly between different carry positions. The holster fits belts up to 1¾" and is crafted from Premium Saddle Leather*.

Glossary:
- Open Top* – No thumb break, strap, or cover over the grip. The firearm is secured by the leather's tension alone, allowing the fastest possible draw.
- Adjustable Retention* – A tension screw allows you to adjust how tightly the holster grips the firearm. Tighter = more secure hold. Looser = faster draw.
- Retention* – How tightly the holster holds the firearm. Higher retention = more secure hold, but slower draw.
- Neutral Cant* – The grip points straight up (0° angle). Allows both Strongside and Crossdraw carry with the same holster.
- OWB* – Outside Waistband – the holster mounts on the outside of the belt (as opposed to IWB holsters, which tuck inside the waistband).
- Premium Saddle Leather* – "Number One" grade American steerhide, representing the top 2% of all available hides, selected for firmness, consistency, and fiber structure.
- Vegetable Tanned* – A traditional, eco-friendly tanning method using natural tannins from tree bark (e.g., oak, mimosa). Produces firm, long-lasting leather without chrome salts or chemicals. More skin-friendly, more biodegradable, and develops a beautiful patina over time.
- IDPA* – International Defensive Pistol Association: An international sport shooting organization focused on realistic self-defense scenarios.
- USPSA* – United States Practical Shooting Association: The U.S. governing body for practical shooting competition.
