Belt holsters are mainly used for police units and security units or personal protection. Belt holsters are the most common and are worn on the belt. They can be worn in two different draw angles. In the first variant, called FBI, the weapon is e.g. for a right-handed person on the right side. With the second draw angle, called Cross Draw, the weapon is carried e.g. by a right-hander on the left side, but with the grip to the front. A special shape of the belt holster imitates the look of a belt bag; the weapon is carried directly in front of the belly, a Velcro fastener guarantees quick access to the weapon. This special shape is used by police officers in civilian clothing when concealed carrying of the weapon is not otherwise possible (for example in summer temperatures in T-shirts).
